Once a year the transit system here provides free bus rides for the day. So I’m taking a bus ride today, to Forks or Neah Bay, haven’t decided which yet.That is a 1953 Citroën Traction Avant. They were manufactured from 1934 to 1957. They had front wheel drive, that’s interesting. It was a favorite car of the French resistance, the French police and the French Mafia. It was in the Safeway parking lot when I was in Port Townsend for the kinetic races, a nice looking shapely woman got in and drove off in it, I should have followed her so I could steal it, neat looking car.
The date of my operation has been changed to Halloween.
Life has it’s ups and downs, collectively, when it is up you need to prepare for the down times, if you don’t you are going to be a very unhappy camper. You need to be ready to slow down and enjoy the flowers, not just look at them on the fly. And enjoy the simple things you can make at home instead of buying an expensive cup of coffee out. And be thankful for what you have without whining because life isn’t so good anymore. Those that are not getting back to basics are just going to get in even more trouble.
I stopped trying to keep up with the Jones’s years ago, now they are going broke, ha ha ha. After looking at some ladies blogs yesterday and seeing how they are spending their money I was reminded to be thankful that I don’t have such a woman here. People lie to themselves, they don’t really want simple and basic lives.
Global leaders huddle to solve market mess………. They’ll have to change how the markets work in order to do that, limit the life of stocks to just five or ten years for one thing. And get rid of the greed, oh well, those that forget that they should not invest money that they can’t afford to lose deserve to lose it I guess.
Next year Canadians will start feeling more of a pinch because so much of what they sell is sold to America, the wise ones there will start getting ready for harder times and get back to basics as soon as they can. Those that don’t will just go broke. I worry about that happening to Cher but I don’t think she likes and takes my advice being as she spends money on things like jumping out of airplanes. Don’t know, she stopped talking to me. That makes me sad but there is nothing I can do about it, I sure enjoyed some of her mind fucks though, when I caught on to them.
And I guess that she isn’t going to return the books I lent her so I’ll just consider them gifts and look for replacement copies. Oh well, it’s not that hard for me to test some folks thinkers too much.
I was going to rent a movie to watch but when out buying cat food I bought one on sale for five bucks. It was WILDTHINGS. It sure was different, and shows just how sick some parts of humanity really is, movie or not.
I’ve been chopping that apple tree back for five years trying to kill it and that monster just keeps mocking me and getting bigger than ever. I’m still picking and giving away apples. I should just cut it down, it really cuts into my bonding time with the Peppermint Schnapps. Oh my god, maybe it thinks it is a christian and is supposed to over produce.
